Course Information

How long do your courses take to complete?

Depending on the topic, our online courses can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours to complete.

Can I stop a course in progress and start again later?

Yes, you can stop a course and your progress will be saved. You may also return to the course at any time for a two-year period (one-year period for Bloodborne Pathogens) at no additional cost.

Do I have to take an exam?

Yes, all courses require an exam. 

What do I receive for completing the course?

For most of our online courses, you will receive a Certificate of Online Training in both a wall and wallet-sized version, like this

When do I receive my certificate?

You receive your Certificate of Online Training immediately after completing the course.

How long is the Certificate of Online Training for an emergency care course valid?

A Certificate of Online Training is valid for two years, with the exception of our Bloodborne Pathogens course, which is valid for one year.

Does successful completion of your online training require face-to-face, hands-on skill practice and skill testing with an instructor?

Successful completion of online training does not require hands-on skill practice and skill testing. Please check with your employer or state licensing board to confirm their specific requirements. If they require a hands-on skill assessment, you will have the opportunity to connect with an authorized instructor after you complete the online course. 

How do I know if the online course I select is the correct one for me?

To determine if the course is appropriate for your needs, carefully read its description, and if you have further questions, verify acceptance with your employer.

Do you offer online training courses in Spanish?

We do not offer online training courses in Spanish at this time.
